OUR COMMITMENT:

The protection of privacy and personal data is an essential commitment of Geodouro with its customers, employees, suppliers and partners.

The Geodouro adopts the best technical and organizational practices to protect the personal data processed against loss, involuntary or illicit elimination and undue alteration, as well as against failures of integrity, access or unauthorized disclosure.

This policy was designed to ensure compliance with the rules set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, onwards “GDPR”), in order to ensure the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

Any natural person, to whom the data concern and who uses our services or has any contractual relationship with Geodouro – partner, supplier or collaborator.

The person responsible for the collection and processing of your personal data will be Geodouro and in this context it defines which data is collected, means of treatment and purposes for which the data is used.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED AND PROCESSED?

The personal data collected by Geodouro are limited to what is strictly necessary, namely, name, address, tax number, telephone number, email address. However, other data may be collected, necessary for the performance of our services, in accordance with contractual requirements.

HOW ARE THEY COLLECTED AND TREATED?

This personal data can be collected in person, by telephone or in writing – via mail, via e-mail or by filling in information in forms on the Geodouro websites (http://www.geodouro.pt and https://www.sigp.pt) or obtained through other actions carried out by Geodouro.

TREATMENT PURPOSE

The personal data we process at Geodouro will only be used for the following purposes::

  • Processing requests for information/quotations/commercial proposals;
  • Processing of data relating to pre-contractual steps – for example, recruitment;
  • Processing of data necessary for the provision of services awarded to Geodouro;
  • Communication with customers – clarifying doubts, sending satisfaction questionnaires, managing complaints, issuing invoices – within the scope of the services provided.
  • Disclosure/promotion/marketing communications for Geodouro services only (by obtaining consent from the data subject for this purpose);

Geodouro guarantees the confidentiality of all data provided by its customers and undertakes to use the data exclusively for the previously identified purposes.

SECURITY MEASURES TO PROTECT PERSONAL DATA

The Geodouro declares that it has implemented and will continue to implement the security measures of a technical and organizational nature, necessary to guarantee the security of the personal data that is provided in order to avoid its alteration, loss, treatment and/or unauthorized access, having taking into account the current state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed.

We have implemented:

• Requirements and logical security measures, such as the use of backups, the existence of a strict policy of access to systems and information and the recording of actions taken by Geodouro employees on the personal data of customers, suppliers or partners.

• Storage of data in a database protected by login and password;

• Whenever possible and accepted by customers, use of SSL/HTTPS protocols on the developed platforms;

• Use of encryption protocols in communications via e-mail;

• Inspection, auditing and control mechanisms to ensure compliance with security and privacy policies;

• Information and training for Geodouro employees and partners.

RIGHTS OF DATA HOLDERS

Geodouro guarantees the rights of its customers, suppliers or partners, as holders of personal data, such as: access to personal data concerning them, their rectification, elimination, updating, treatment limitation, data portability, as well as opposition to its treatment (under the terms provided for by law) – this request must be made in writing to the following email address: privacidade@geodouro.pt

The data subject also has the right to submit a complaint to the control authority, the CNPD – Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dadoswww.cnpd.pt in case of non-compliance by Geodouro with the obligations that apply to it in terms of privacy.
